CLS Laundry on the outskirts of Newton Abbot is to be given a £55,000 make-over to help disguise the building.
Residents who have campaigned against the Kingskerswell Road eyesore since it was controversially given planning consent, have accepted that it is here to stay.
But now a deal has been struck with the new owners to paint the outside in beige and green, so it will blend in with the surrounding countryside.
